Feminist Book Week is an initiative launched by YWCA to raise awareness of the sexism, unconscious bias and gender inequity that is still rampant in publishing and media, while celebrating female writers and diverse storytelling. After its inaugural year in 2020, we are excited to bring back Feminist Book Week in 2021 to continue conversations around diversity and the importance of intersectional voices in our to-read lists.
We are excited to partner with publisher Black Inc, Victorian Women’s Trust and the Queen Victoria Women’s Centre in 2021 to deliver a host of events and competitions to inspire and educate budding feminist writers across the country.

About the tote:
This feminist tote is 42 x 42cm with reinforced shoulder straps and one large compartment. It’s made from 100% cotton canvas.
Our totes are made in China in BSCI Certified factories.
They are printed locally in Melbourne, Australia using water based, child safe, Oeko-Tex Certified inks and are printed on demand to minimise the impact on the environment.
